About Your Photographer

My name is Erika Thornburg.  I am the owner and photographer of Erika’s Photography which offers custom fine art portrait and wedding photography. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. My photography studio was originally located in Rock Hill SC, but relocated to the Weatherford/Aledo/Fort Worth area when my husband accepted a position in Weatherford, TX. My husband and I are also the proud parents of 4 beautiful children and a 126 lb. Bullmastiff.

I am a very creative person and I truly love what I do!  I even use creativity in my hobby of scrapbooking!  I began painting when I was only 11 years old and have had a passion for photography since I was 16 years old.

Even when I don’t have my camera in my hand, I still notice the way light falls on subjects!  I’m taking pictures in my head if not with my camera! My business has grown out of a love for what I do and people showing off my work.  I strive for you to have a hassle-free session in a relaxed environment!  Schedule the time with me and I will use the opportunity to capture images you will treasure for a lifetime!
