Sinco Family Portraits in Trinity Park
I just wanted to share a few of my sister’s family portraits from their visit:
This Little Gem is who I get to look at!
I’m working on this sweet 2 week old newborn little girl’s portraits and had to share!
and one of Big Brother alone…
And one more of Ava…
New family picture on the Erika’s Passions page!
I have changed the color of my hair and have a new haircut since I took the image that was featured on the page about me on my website. So, I figured I should probably update that page which is called the ERIKA’S PASSIONS page. I like for people to know what I look like and feel like they already know me when we begin a session. Make sure to check it out. Actually….Now that I am thinking about it, I don’t think that I ever shared any of the images from my family session on here! I only shared them on my personal facebook page. So, here you go…
The King’s Family Portraits
Just wanted to share a few from the King’s family portrait session in the studio:
Broadwater Family Session Slideshow
Just working on the Broadwater’s order and posted this slideshow and their images on facebook….thought I would post their facebook slideshow on here as well. Beautiful family!!!
Broadwater’s 8×12 Leather Coffee Table Proofbook
I absolutely love when my clients earn the upgraded 8×12 Coffee table proofbook! They are beautiful!!! Thought I would share the Broadwater’s in digital form while they anxiously await theirs:
Entire day devoted to working on the Broadwater Session…
might work faster if I wasn’t so cold!!! I added a 2nd pair of socks and got another cup of coffee, but I’m freezing for some reason. I’m hoping it will warm me up. Wish I knew where I put my slippers….never wear them but would like them right about now!
Although, I looked at the temperature outside…low 50′s…then I looked at Akron Ohio (where I grew up), Canton Ga (where my parents and sister live), and Rock Hill (where we just moved from)…WAY less than that. So, not really sure why I’m freezing! I think the problem I’m having is that our weather has been varying so much. We have had days almost to 80 and then Thanksgiving morning it was 37! Mostly been in the 50′s and 60′s during the day which isn’t bad. I’m not sure why I’m so stickin’ cold. Maybe my body adjusted to the hot Texas heat of 99 to 105 this summer.
LOVED LOVE LOVED this image and it makes me feel like I’m on a rocky beach somewhere….so, had to post it….
The Broadwater’s Sneak Peak…aka “The Rockstars!”
I had an extremely busy day today and only had the opportunity to work on a few images from the Broadwater’s family session from yesterday, but wanted to get a couple posted for them. I’ll probably post more as I get more finished.
These 2 stood out to me so I grabbed them to work on. Holli, Teagan, and Ayden were TONS of fun to work with! They thought my request for them to bring sunglasses was strange, but they trusted me. I totally think it payed off. My 4 year old daughter walked over when I was working on this first one and said “They look like Rockstars!” I had joked with the Broadwaters that it looks like a band cover image when I was taking it. But, thought it was even funnier that my youngest could see Mommy’s vision for it. Check it out…
More of the Crenshaws….
I just love this first one with the tree line! Really cool shot! Can’t wait for them to see these.
Crenshaw Family Portrait
Thought I would post a quick sneak peak before the Thanksgiving holiday for the Crenshaw Family. I had the privilege of photographing their family portraits this afternoon since their kids were home for the holiday. What a fun family! I’m sure I will have more to post, but this one grabbed my attention right off the bat.
Cristi & Alyssa’s Fort Worth Stockyards Session
I had a blast Saturday with these 2. Our goal was to get some western themed family portraits for their Christmas cards. I believe that we definitely succeeded! They were great sports…walked all over the stockyards from end to end, changed clothes, and did it again. I am certain they will be extremely happy with the results because we ended up with a lot of fantastic images. I have only worked on a few so I can’t wait to get to all of them. I love shooting in the Fort Worth Stockyards because there is so much variety there! I could probably find new “spots” to shoot every time. Here are a few images from their session as a sneak peak:
The Elliott’s Family Portrait Session
It is sumwhat sad that this will be my last session with the Elliott family. I have been photographing Layton while she was still in her Mommy’s tummy and I’ll miss them greatly! I had a great time capturing this session. Layton was so funny. Many of you know that I tend to make noises trying to get kids attention….well, Layton was copying me. It was HILARIOUS!!!! Plus, the private park that we did these in was a wonderful place! It had a really great waterfall that wasn’t on during the session, but we made great use of it anyway. Plus, it had a cute bridge and was extremely shaded. Great place! These are a few of their images. Wonderful session! I’ll miss you guys!
Sharing the Godfrey’s Family Portrait Slideshow!
These kids were a lot of fun! I just had to leave in the Superman shot….the things I can get kids to do! LOL!
Robbin’s Coffee Table Session Album
The Robbins’ family had a terrific session and upgraded their 10×13 proofbook to an 8×12 Coffee Table Album. It will have a black leather cover embossed with their son’s full name and birthday on it. Plus, a square family picture above it. The inside consists of all of the images from their session which I custom designed for them. This is a digital version that I provided them so that they could get a taste for what a treat they are in for! This blog version cuts off some of the borders, but you get the idea!
The Godfrey’s Family Portrait Session
This family was a TON of fun to photograph! These kids just oozed orneriness!!! Which made the session a blast! I’m still working on the images, but here are a few that caught my eye:
Some Awesome New Urban Locations…
Carrie requested to do more of an urban family session rather than the typical on-location park session and we had a lot of fun this past Monday morning capturing images despite the cold weather. She is very anxious to see a sneak peak so I worked on a few of their images so that I could post them and I know she will be pleased with the results…urban style…

The James’ Family Session!
I wanted to post a few from the James family session from last week which we did in Glencairn Gardens. It was fun to see Wyatt since I haven’t seen him since he was 6 weeks old! He is now 8 months old and man is he adorable!! Thought I would share a few of my favorites from the session…

Thank goodness for photoshop!
I am working on the Vastag’s session from last week and I’m extremely grateful for photoshop! The Vastags were wonderful! I had a lot of fun with them during their on-location session at Glencairn gardens. But, with 12 people in a photo that contains young ones…combining images is the way to go! It takes me a little longer, but definitely produces a great final product! Here are a couple from their session….I have many more that I have to work on!

The Young Family again…
Thought I would post a family picture of the Young’s session from Wednesday…
